AHA Junior Program

Our intent is to work with local community coaches to help young interested air pistol shooters of all genders develop their target shooting skills.

The AHA has supplied starter air guns and targets to several clubs across the province.  Our goal is to create a postal competition between these new shooters.

We have had a slow start with the health issues across the province this year.  At present we have one club, under the direction of DonMoisiki in Warburg, shooting the postal.  Our goal is to expand the league in the new year.

If any questions, please contact Secretary - Bernie Harrison (secretary at albertahandgun.org)

Intent: We hope to encourage new and skilled junior shooters of all genders in the sport of Air Pistol Target Shooting.  We hope to start with small groups and grow each year.  We do not want to have too many rules… we want participation.

To support our objectives, we have provided some air pistols to each group as well as targets.

Perhaps in the future we can hold a junior Alberta Air Gun Shooting Championship.
